James Haggerty is one of the few ceramic artists who has mastered the difficult firing process known as "Strike reduction" or "Persian luster".

His work is carefully hand thrown on the potters wheel and is known for its' finely crafted traditional and contemporary forms with rich, colorful lusters, and interesting textures such as craters, melt fissures, and brilliant metallic glaze surfaces.

Linda Haggerty is known for her work in sculpture, tile, and pottery designs that incorporate traditional and contemporary forms and the Persian Luster process.

Most recently she has enjoyed collaborating with James, embellishing his pottery with her designs and his glazes.

Every piece created by Haggerty Ceramics is an extraordinary, one of a kind, collectable work of art that is made with a specially formulated terra cotta clay, and is individually signed and cataloged with a serial number that corresponds to the date it was made and its placement in the kiln.
